Functional properties of Lime Portland Cement:

The Mazandaran Cement Company began producing this cement in 1386 thanks to its rich supply of pure limestone and high quality clinker, and was able to obtain a license to use the standard mark. This cement contains a minimum of 80% clinker, a maximum of 15% pure limestone and 5% gypsum.

Use of  Lime Portland Cement

According to the national standard of Iran (No. 4220), Lime Portland Cement can be used in the preparation of mortar and concrete and in all cases where Portland cement type (1-325) is used.

These usage include

1. Production of ordinary reinforced concrete for use in the foundation and frame of buildings.

2. All construction work of ordinary buildings, including wall construction, cementing, mosaic laying, stone laying, tile laying.

3. Construction of prefabricated reinforced concrete products, including blocks, paving stones, tables along the streets.

Attributes of  Portland Lime  Cement:

1. Better pumpability compared to ordinary Portland cement.

2. Better applicability than ordinary Portland cement.

3. Holds more water than ordinary Portland cement

4. It is more resistant to freeze-thaw cycles than ordinary Portland cement.
